Do turtles eat apples?

by Ana Sedes on May.28, 2012, under Exhibition

017The turtle team has been studying the culinary tastes of its OKO mascot - and you know what? She just loves them!

Each year, to welcome the spring season, we take it with us “in the skyscrapers city” where she’s enjoying the “Big Apple” and where she’s filling in with the love of our American and Canadian clients besides the pampering of the international press!

Once more, the turtle gets to be talked about at the Vision Expo East in New York - large international optical trade show in the USA - that took place from March 23rd through 25th - where we revealed and uncovered our latest trendy creations from OKO by OKO Paris, Kidoko, MyMuse and Moko Besicles for the spring-summer 2012.

Awaiting for new adventures, we send from Paris, a big hug to Seattle, New York, Montreal and Quebec, with a very special kiss to the participants of the Argentinian Friday dinner, thank you for your support! Without forgetting of course, Selima Saun and Aida as well as all the Selima Optique team and Jimmy Neda, the best stylist and “personal shopper” of NYC !

Thank you for the great evening and for your love! Maybe a selection of a few photos to whet the appetite for next year?

Bravissima la Tartaruga ! Ecos from Milan

by Ana Sedes on May.03, 2012, under Oko Eyewear

Just after the crazyness and the great responses we got thanks to our latest creations at Expooptica in Madrid, the turtle team has taken off for Milano to participate, beginning of March, to the 42nd MIDO edition - the “must go” international optical spring rendez-vous.

Fiera Milano has welcomed this year about 42000 industry professionals coming from more than 40 countries.

Great atmosphere, animations and lots of creation at the Design Lab - even the sun showed up !

The turtle has not disappointed its audience with our new trendy creations for spring-summer 2012 - with the new OKO by OKO Paris collection “QUI SUIS-JE ?”

with its emblematic pattern : the micro-perforation, and its unique plain colors with half-shiny and half-satin finish effects to create special reflects and sheens, has been highly remarked and appreciated unanimously by the press and the public.
